Bavis is a small distributed team. We think automation shouldn't be a privilege of large companies, and it shouldn't require an engineering team to get started.

Our story

It started with a daily report we assembled by hand

In 2023 we were running a 20-person company. The first task of every morning was exporting five spreadsheets and stitching them into one report. Eventually we wrote a script — and colleagues started asking for “one of those”.

What we learned is that the blocker isn't ability, it's the threshold. So Bavis exists to turn “knowing how to write a script” into “knowing how to describe the outcome”. Today it runs the work 12,000 teams would rather not do by hand.

Working beats beautiful

A rough workflow that runs today is worth more than an elegant plan for next quarter. We ship in 30-minute increments.

Everything rolls back

Any automated action must be visible, pausable and reversible. Trust is earned by behaviour, not promised in a landing page.

Less is more

We would rather cut a feature than ship one that needs training. Every new switch has to earn its place.

    Three people and a script

    We built the first report bot for our own team. Live on a Sunday, no more manual assembly by Monday.

  2. 24

    Public beta

    Schedules, event triggers and a dozen connectors. 500 teams signed up in the first week.

  3. 25

    Approvals and private deployment

    “Controllable” became a product surface: review steps, audit logs and bring-your-own model keys.

  4. 26

    12,000 teams

    Across 37 industries, with more than 4.8 million runs completed every month.
